Hi! Cristy here, just wanted to say a few words. I know many of you believe commercial makeup artistry is a small "tight knit" community and think you need to have contacts in the business to get started and be successful. This is a myth and I'm 100% proof of that. I started my freelance career 20+ years ago with absolutely no contacts, no makeup experience, no social media and living in small-er town USA! Now I work both nationally and internationally in print, video, TV, commercials and live events, with amazing people and crews. Many of those people are my clients which include elite athletes including Super Bowl Champions, celebrities, musicians, TV personalities, politicians, corporations, brands and TV networks.
